Job Description
South Essex Homes is launching a citywide decoration program, transforming both the interiors of communal spaces and the exterior façades of residential properties. The project covers repairs, full redecoration and safe access delivery across houses, flats and sheltered schemes. Contractors are invited to take on a multi-year program that blends craftsmanship, consistency and large-scale impact across Southend.
Key Responsibilities
Internal & External Decoration
Complete full redecoration of external elements: doors, windows, soffits, fascias, sheds, railings, porches, cladding and masonry.
Decorate internal communal areas: stairwells, corridors, landings and shared spaces.
Pre-Painting Repairs
Carry out all associated repairs including timber repairs, plaster repairs, cladding repairs and making good surfaces before painting.
Use approved systems such as Windowcare (or equivalent) where required.
